Multi Factor Authentication (MFA)

To understand how to perform Azure App Registration and how to generate Azure App Client ID and Azure App Tenant ID, refer Appendix A - Azure App Registration & Generating Azure App Client ID & Tenant ID.

To understand how to enable Multi Factor Authentication (MFA) for Office 365 account for Admin, refer Appendix B - Enabling MFA for Office 365 Account - Admin.

To understand how to enable Multi Factor Authentication (MFA) for Office 365 account for a user, refer Appendix C - Enabling MFA for Office 365 Account - User.

To perform Multi Factor Authentication (MFA), follow the steps as:

  1. Launch Regain Outlook to Office365 Migration software. The home screen of the software appears with Login Status as Not Connected.
  2. Click Connect to connect with Office 365 account.
  3. The Login to Office 365 Account window appears.
  4. Click the tab Multi Factor Authentication.
  5. Enter the Azure App Client ID and Azure App Tenant ID.
  6. Select the checkbox “Migrate to Archive Mailbox Folder” if you want to migrate Outlook PST files to Office 365 archive mailboxes.
  7. Click Login Now.
