Login with App Password

To login with the password generated by Microsoft Office 365 for Regain OST Recovery app, perform the steps as discussed below:

1. In Connect to Office 365 Account screen, to migrate to Microsoft Office 365 account:
   1. Select Server Type as Office 365.
   2. Enter the User Name / Email ID and password generated by Microsoft Office 365 for Regain OST Recovery app.
   3. Click Connect.
   
2. To migrate to Live Exchange Server:
   1. Select Server Type as Exchange Server.
   2. Enter the Domain Name/IP Address.
   3. Select the Exchange Version fromn the list.
   4. Enter the User Name / Email ID and password generated by Microsoft Office 365 for Regain OST Recovery app.
   5. Click Connect.
   

Note: The above-mentioned steps are for Basic Authentication.

While trying login using Basic Authentication, if you are facing an error “Failed (401 unauthorized error)”, then you need to try login Multi-Factor Authentication as this is a new security feature by Microsoft Azure.
