Enable IMAP Setting

To enable the IMAP Settings in Gmail account, perform the steps as discussed below:

1. In your Gmail account, click (Gear icon).
2. Click See All Settings.
3. Under Forwarding and POP/IMAP tab, for IMAP access option – select Enable IMAP.
4. Click Save Changes.
5. The Status will appear as IMAP is enabled.
